Opera music at Peak church

Opera music will grace a historic Peak District church, when a popular tenor takes to the stage.
Dana de Waal will be joined by his wife Anne and other performers at the Colour in Autumn concert at Birchover Church.
Dana has thrilled audience across the world – from South Africa to the Czech Republic – with his agile voice and breathtaking vocal control.
He performs a wide range of classical pieces, as well as works which include African rhythms and European folk tales.
Alongside his wife Anne on piano, Dana will sing old favourites with new and unconventional twists.
And he will introduce the audience to a range of his own compositions.
The concert will be held on October 18, from 7.30pm.
There will be a glass of wine and light refreshments served in the Birchover Reading Room after the concert. These are included in the price of the ticket.
Seats will be limited and tickets will go on sale soon.
